For You, The War Is Over

Good bye Bruce. As I've written before, I'm in no hurry to disparage the fairly significant contributions you have made to US Soccer and the US National Program in particular. But it was time for both to move on. I'm glad you realize this, and I wish you all the luck in the world, provided you don't start coaching RBNY.

And, in case other people are forgetting to say it, let me also add this:

Thanks.

If he is replaced by an MLS coach I will vomit.

Amen to D's comment. Germany left a bad taste, but BA absolutely moved the program significantly. Please Lord, don't let him turn up in New York. I'm hoping he's still available if Piotr gets an international opportunity to move on.

Thanx BA and Godspeed. I hope you do end up in MLS cause it would be good to have another team worth playing. The DCU I saw on Wed night was better than I saw all year. That says a lot about the competition. We need better teams to play against. Its to easy to win hide and seek against a blind man.
As this is my first reply and or post I also want to thank D for all the hard work. I check every day for updates while in the Jiffy John at work and you make it bearable. I owe you a beer sir.

I hope he goes to NY and resurrects that mediocre franchise. As much as I love watching that team flounder, a good NY team will help MLS. I really would love to see a strong DCU-NY rivalry.
